(More customer reviews)I am very happy with this purchase. I've always wanted to learn the guitar but I didn't want to pay a lot of money for a beginner' guitar. I searched online for quite a while and came upon this guitar.I saw the price of it and all the additional items that came with it and thought to myself that since it's so "cheap" and I'm just learning to play, it would be a good deal to purchase it. I also thought that because is was so cheap, that the quality of the guitar would be poor.I'm happy to say that I was wrong. The quality of this "cheap" guitar is outstanding. I am so pleaed with it, plus all the items that came with it. I feel as though I "stoled" it.What a great product. I just love it. It looks and sounds wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good guitar, even those who play professionally.

(More customer reviews)I hesitated buying this guitar for my grandson when I saw a few negative reviews, but when I checked the list, the 5- and 4-star reviews were double the negative ones, so I decided to purchase it.

I realize it's not the best on the market, but a beginner doesn't need the best. Kids often think they want to play the guitar, then later change their minds in favor of drums or something else that catches their eyes. With that in mind and the economical price and the accessories, it was a no-brainer decision. Besides, it's quite stylish in a neutral way; not glittery and showy like some guitars I've seen; more suitable for a 12-year-old.

When I saw Johnny's face light up when he opened his birthday gift ... well, that was priceless to me. It's three months later and he's still smiling, so I consider this one of my best investments.

He's learned a few songs already and is constantly in his room, practicing. Since the sound is good, the noise doesn't bother me. I'd much rather hear him play than listen to blaring rap music. :)

One reviewer complained about the carrying bag, but that didn't worry me at all. It was still a good value, with or without the bag, and we've had no problems yet.

I recommend this to beginning guitarists, no matter how old. If they stick with it and decide to go professional, they can go on to more expensive equipment later.

The extras are the perfect starter kit; come in handy, last for a great while since the guitar is well made I have no need to replace strings. I have had it for 5 months now and it has been a good instrument to me; the guitar keeps up with my rough novice handling; bumps against walls and doorways, and it remains steardy. The color its beautiful, I name it (indeed I did) Luna de Octubre - Octuber Moon.

(More customer reviews)I bought this guitar for my grandson for Christmas...however, I'm going to give it to my grand-daughter for a first guitar.(I bought my grandson a different one).
The guitar itself is beautiful.I was impressed.
The strings are soft and "buzzy".I bought other strings and will restring it after I give it to her.
The guitar does have a nice sound quality, and projects quite well.
I'm having a hard time fitting the guitar into it's case, but Austin Bazar has assured me this is the correct case.When I recieved the guitar it did not include the accessories as described, but when I contacted Austin Bazar they had them here in a couple of days.They have great cusomer contact people.Thanks
The strap that came with is kind of ugly...but that's not hard to remedy.
For a first guitar you can't beat the price!!!and new strings were only about $8.00
I'd recommed this set.

(More customer reviews)I allready own a professional model Giannini steel string Spruce and Indian Rosewood six string beatuty and I wanted a twelve string to complement it.The Bollivian Rosewood(Morado) wood is wonderfull with a nice bookmatched back and the spruce top is flawless.The back had a few voids in the stain and makes the new guitar look cheaper than it is.There were a few small dings in the headstick and the string set was not up to par with my $1,000.00 (here at Amazon)model.I replaced the strings with D'Addarios and polished the back with Martin Guitar polish a few times and the increased shine made the back look better.Thge guitar plays very well as good as my Brazillian Washburn 12 string and my maple Sigma 12 string.All in all I am very satified with the guitar.$467.00 with a soft gig bag and free shipping made this a good purchase I just wish that I could have had my pick of a few guitars to choose from.The odd shape makes this guitar very comfortable to play.

Washburn D10 Series Acoustic Electric Cutaway Guitar Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this guitar as an upgrade to an older, starter Washburn guitar that I absolutely loved, though I probably should have taken better care of it. When I ordered this new guitar I didn't expect anything more than another great Washburn guitar.

Holy crap, I opened the box only to find that it came in an awesome hard case! Nowhere on the page when I ordered did it say it came with a case. It's a very nice, Washburn hard case, with a sweet felt or something inside. That was a very pleasant surprise indeed.

Aside from the case, this guitar also has a great built in pickup. I had to play a show the night I got the guitar and it sounded great. I did replace the strings with some better ones. The strings it came with sounded okay, just a little light and weak, especially when the guitar was plugged into an amp. With some new strings it sounded and played great.

The pickup has a great built in tuner. I've heard others saying the guitar doesn't stay in tune very well, though I haven't had that experience. I have kept it in it's case when I'm not playing it and like I said I put new strings on.

Overall, the action on the guitar is great. So smooth and easy to play. The build quality is way better than a lot of guitars that are way more expensive. The sound of the guitar is very full and rich. The case was a bonus.
