New Black Cutaway Acoustic Guitar W/ Accessories Combo Kit Beginners Review

(More customer reviews)I am very happy with this purchase. I've always wanted to learn the guitar but I didn't want to pay a lot of money for a beginner' guitar. I searched online for quite a while and came upon this guitar.I saw the price of it and all the additional items that came with it and thought to myself that since it's so "cheap" and I'm just learning to play, it would be a good deal to purchase it. I also thought that because is was so cheap, that the quality of the guitar would be poor.I'm happy to say that I was wrong. The quality of this "cheap" guitar is outstanding. I am so pleaed with it, plus all the items that came with it. I feel as though I "stoled" it.What a great product. I just love it. It looks and sounds wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good guitar, even those who play professionally.

Full Size Acoustic Guitar with Free Carrying Bag - Natural Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I hesitated buying this guitar for my grandson when I saw a few negative reviews, but when I checked the list, the 5- and 4-star reviews were double the negative ones, so I decided to purchase it.

I realize it's not the best on the market, but a beginner doesn't need the best. Kids often think they want to play the guitar, then later change their minds in favor of drums or something else that catches their eyes. With that in mind and the economical price and the accessories, it was a no-brainer decision. Besides, it's quite stylish in a neutral way; not glittery and showy like some guitars I've seen; more suitable for a 12-year-old.

When I saw Johnny's face light up when he opened his birthday gift ... well, that was priceless to me. It's three months later and he's still smiling, so I consider this one of my best investments.

He's learned a few songs already and is constantly in his room, practicing. Since the sound is good, the noise doesn't bother me. I'd much rather hear him play than listen to blaring rap music. :)

One reviewer complained about the carrying bag, but that didn't worry me at all. It was still a good value, with or without the bag, and we've had no problems yet.

I recommend this to beginning guitarists, no matter how old. If they stick with it and decide to go professional, they can go on to more expensive equipment later.

AB 38 Inch Blue Cutaway Acoustic Guitar with Gig Bag and Accessories Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This guitar is very good, is very solidly made. The extras are the perfect starter kit; come in handy, last for a great while since the guitar is well made I have no need to replace strings. I have had it for 5 months now and it has been a good instrument to me; the guitar keeps up with my rough novice handling; bumps against walls and doorways, and it remains steardy. The color its beautiful, I name it (indeed I did) Luna de Octubre - Octuber Moon.

The Dean X Series
The Dean X Series offers ML, V and Z style guitars at a price that won't break the bank. These guitars feature maple necks, rosewood fretboards, dual humbuckers, and plenty of Dean mojo, and are built to rock--perfect for beginners and veterans alike.Basswood Body
The VX features a lightweight basswood body. Basswood is great for heavier rock and metal styles, delivering a nice even tone that feeds a dirt pedal (or a dimed Marshall) nicely.Bolt-On Construction
Bolt-on neck construction provides an affordable alternative to set-neck or thru-body designs. The advantage of this design is that if you do have any neck trouble down the line, you can easily replace it. The VX's maple neck features an ultra-playable 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, with classic dot inlays.Dean Humbucker Pickups
To capture the biting tones of vintage Deans, the company includes two of its standard humbuckers, in black-and-white "zebra" style for looks as good as the sounds. And what to expect tonally? These pickups should provide more than enough bite for modern styles, along with plenty of low-end and midrange definition. The standard three-way selector allows bridge, neck, or a combination. Each pickup gets a volume pot, and they share the tone control.Grover Tuners
If you play guitar then you know what this means--solid, dependable tuning from the industry standard. These guitar machines are a triumph in engineering and style, with a gear ratio of 14:1, perfect gear meshing, and zero backlash and slippage. The gear box has a special lubricant for lifetime, trouble-free service.
Tune-o-Matic Bridge
The Tune-o-Matic bridge with string-thru body design provides serious sustain, along with precise intonation for your tuning preference. The classic v-shaped plate mirrors the headstock wings for some nice vintage Dean style.
