Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Cordoba C10 guitar in December 2009. First ...Cordoba sent the cheaper/ wrong versionto me on two occasions. As of May 15, 2010... Iwas still unable to get the correct guitar and Icancelled the order after being asked to wait again. The national sales manager from Cordobawas not interested or unable tohelp me.I have eight (8) e-mails from him with empty promises.) On three occasions I also asked Amazon to look into this matter. I was prepared to accept a delay but now feel that I was deceived .......There are better companies to deal with that want you business!!!!!.Why would anyone buy a Cordoba Guitar?

Seagull Entourage Rustic Mini Jumbo 6-string Acoustic Guitar Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Seagull Entourage Rustic Mini Jumbo 6-string guitar from a local shop in my area.I did my research on the subject, as I always do, and concluded that a Seagull wouldbe a good investment. I really hadn't decided on the model yet, but trying it out in the store revealed to me that this model was the one I wanted. I'm so glad I bought it. My friends all say they've never heard of it, but all agree it sounds very good.

I've had it now for about 3 months and I can honestly say I love the sound and playability of it. It was setup just fine from the store. My son said it had a little string buzz, which it does if I pluck the strings very hard.A light touch to the strings and it doesn't buzz at all, so I think that is a result of how hard it is played. Have I said how much I love the sound of it?Play some Neal Young or any other acoustic song and it sounds just like the recordings as far as tone. Even "electric" songs sound great on this guitar and the sound just seems to get better and better as time goes on.

The QIM electronics also perform very well. It is very sensitive as I had to turn my amp way down initially due to feedback, but fine tuning the knobs will result in a sweet electric acoustic sound. This guitar is definitely one of the best bangs for the buck items I have had in quite some time. I couldn't be happier and wouldn't consider trading it off. I have tried some Ovations, Martins and Taylors that, in my opinion, did not sound as full and rich as this one.YMMV.

All in all I am very satisfied with this guitar and would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to own a great sounding acoustic that will not break the bank.

Product Description:
The Seagull Entourage Package offers two models based upon the S6 Original Slim and the Mini Jumbo. Both feature beautiful new 'plumage' in the form of a new Rustic Burst, custom polished finish. This finish not only protects the guitar but never impedes the sound of the instrument allowing it to age properly and sound better the more it's played overtime.

Cordoba C7 Classical Guitar, SP/IN Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)First of all, I should state for the record that I am a professional classical guitarist. For the past 15 years I have owned and played guitars by the late master luthier Thomas Humphrey almost exclusively (I concurrently owned a beautiful instrument by notable English builder Christopher Dean for about two years) all of which are near the $10,000 price range. I mention this only to establish the frame of reference by which I am reviewing the Cordoba C7.

I ordered the Cordoba C7 as a teaching guitar and I received it in record time (about 2 days from ordering). Aesthetically, the guitar is beautiful. The European Spruce top and indian rosewood (laminated) back and sides are really gorgeous for a $500 guitar. What I find most impressive is the sound quality and volume of the C7. The sound is deep, rich, "wet" and suprisingly full and round. This guitar can be pushed pretty hard and played fairly loud without breaking up, although the volume does seem to peak at a certain point compared to true concert guitars (again, it's only $500, what do you want?). The playability is outstanding and action very easy no matter what the string tension. I'm not sure how the folks at Cordoba do it, but they have managed to design and build a very impressive, REALLY good advanced student guitar (or entry level concert-quality guitar?) with fine materials for an unbelievable price.

I want to be careful not to over-state my praise for this guitar, but I have played guitars that sell for $1500-$2000 that do not sound this good. All of my comments and praise should be taken in the context of the price of this guitar. If you are looking for an amazing concert instrument to travel the world and record your Grammy award-winning CD, then this is probably not your guitar (although I would play a concert on this guitar if I had to). If you are looking for a great sounding and playing guitar as a "beater", travel or teaching instrument for an unbelievable price, you won't be disappointed here.

P.S. The case is a gig bag and not really review-worthy. It's solidly made with thick durable fabric, but it's still a gig bag. Overall, a really good guitar/bag package for a great price.

Takamine GS330S Acoustic Guitar Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This was my first nice guitar that I ever had, I received it as a birthday present one year and have now owned it and played it for roughly 4-5 years and it still sounds great. I have several other guitars that are more expensive and I keep coming back to this one the tone is rich and it is a very well rounded guitar good for playing anything from country to rock and roll... from strumming background to picking solos. The only thing that some may have an issue with is the fact that it is quite thick... I'm 6'1" and it still seems pretty big at times however the richness of the tone and overall responsiveness is just unmatched as far as I'm concerned. The pressure that the fret board requires to produce a clean note isn't like other acoustic guitars even with heavy strings it doesn't require you to kill your fingers in the process of playing which allows for hours of painless playing. I would give this guitar more stars if I could, invest in a guitar that will last and sounds good because it's pointless to go cheap and end up not liking it then buying another one until you end up with a bunch of cheap guitars that you don't like because you'll end up buying an nice one eventually anyway so save some money and buy this one and I guarantee you will love it for years to come I know I will.

Breedlove Passport Plus OM/CMe, H-H Guitar Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I own a Breedlove American Series and Pro Series guitar, and I wanted to have a smaller body as a travel-beater guitar.I'd ordered the least expensive C200/SMP (blemished) from another vendor but to my luck, they had run out and offered me an incredible deal when I asked about the Passport Plus OM/CMe.Intonation is spot on and the setup from Breedlove is perfect.VERY EASY to play.I really don't expect many issues from Breedlove instruments... even the ones that are made in Korea. The sound is a lot bigger than what I'd expect from an OM size guitar.

This little wonder holds its own against guitars three times its price.Makes a great full size travel guitar or for those who just want a great sounding value OM!

Takamine EG5403SVFT NEX Solid Top Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Antique Sunburst Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)If you are into fingerstyle blues - this Korean made Takamine guitar is a great place to start. It features a well matched spruce top, laminated maple sides and back and an excellent electronic system that includes a tuner. The tone on this model is "old blues" with just a hint of brightness...but is missing just a little mid range, however this is something that should improve with playing. The violin burst finish is matte in texture and in color has that old faded blues box look. The neck is in a mild v shape, 14 frets accessible, with a nut width of 1 11/16.If you have big fingers, perhaps further research into guitars with nut widths of 1 3/4 would be in your interest, but I have found it to be comfortable.

I bought it to replace another guitar that I had outgrown and have found this to be an excellent intermediate choice.Perfect for learning fingerstyle blues.

The only negatives is that the back and sides are maple laminate and this model lacks a cutaway. However, for the cost this is a good value and if you feel the need for a cutaway - Takamine makes this model with the same finish plus the cutaway.

Recommended and good value for what you will spend!!!!
