I've been playing the ESP LTD EC50 (in beautiful pearly white) since August and I absolutely adore it.

First things first, make sure you at least go play the guitars you are looking at in person even if you end up ordering off of here, I played this and an entry level Fender model (don't remember which one) that cost $100 more and I loved the sound of this one and didn't care much for the Fender.

Now, specifically on to this guitar. I had mine set-up by the folks at the store to get it dialed in and improved from factory specs, so you might consider that. For the money, you won't pick a better guitar than this. It's a sweet little ride, and the body is awesome; this guitar is so inexpensive because of the pick ups...there isn't anything wrong with them and they still sound good, but when you're looking at a guitar in this price range the difference has to be somewhere.

I'll probably swap out the pick ups somewhere down the line here, but this little machine is sweet. It plays well, the frets are easy to work with and the whole thing is very responsive to whatever you want to do.

I'd recommend this to anybody who wants to learn to play the guitar and likes the classic look of this thing.

Product Description:
ESP has done something very cool with their new EC50. They've started with a classic design, and added their own unique touches like beveled body contours, sculpted cutaway access to the upper frets, and 24 extra jumbo frets -- and they've made it affordable enough for even beginners! The EC50 has ESP LH100 humbucking pickups, a Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard and Black hardware.

Hi!I am going to cut through the chase. I've been playing for 30+yrs. And I've owned a lot of guitars.and to the best of my knowage this is as good as the guitars up in the thousnds. As far as looks ,playabilty, hardware, woods and performance ,most of all craftmenship of beauty! For the price you are stealing it as far as Im concerned. A no Brainer! the only thing they could do is put a American Floyed Rose tremlo systemon it for good dive booms! but then you would have to get off of more cash. End of story I bought it and I couldn't be any Happyer! Because Im jamming to the bank sort of speaking." So Buy it you wont be sorry. Unless your just a EMG kind of man or Chick !

One look at the C-1 Classic and you'll be ready to pick it up and play. With its gorgeous quilted maple and transparent finish, intricate abalone "vine of life" fretboard inlay, and classic chrome hardware it's a sight to behold. The sound won't spoil the magic either--premium hardware like Schecter's new locking tuners, a TonePros TOM bridge, a classic pair of tasty Seymour Duncan humbuckers, and a speedy rosewood fretboard make this beauty ready to deliver, whether you're a jazz cat or a raging rocker.
A neck-thru-body beauty with killer tone and playability. Click to enlarge.

Seymour Duncan JB (SH-4) and Jazz (SH-2n) pickups deliver perfect tone.

Schecter locking tuners for added tuning stability.

Graph Tech "Tusq" nut for added richness and harmonics.

Built for Tone, With Looks to Match
The C-1 Classic features neck-through-body design for massive tone and sustain, and Schecter's "Ultra Access" for hitting those high frets. With its mahogany body and quilted maple top (highlighted by the transparent finish), it looks just as good as it sounds. The abalone "vine of life" completes the visual package, decorating the entire rosewood fretboard. The 25.5" scale maple/walnut neck boasts 24 jumbo frets and a crème binding, for playability and style.Seymour Duncan Pickups
In the bridge position is the SH-4, a hot-rodded humbucker that provides powerful output without losing highs. Great for everything from heavy blues to heavy metal. The neck pickup is an SH-2n, which is a classic moderate output humbucker, with a full tone and a little extra sweetness in the treble region, great for fast runs and beyond.Schecter takes advantage of the coil-tapping on both pickups with their 5-way mega-switch, allowing various combinations of single- and double-coil and series/parallel settings for a variety of tonal options.Graph Tech "Tusq" Nut
The precision Tusq nut is made with Graph Tech's "man made ivory," which couples the strings' vibrations to the neck and is impregnated with Teflon to improve the tuning performance of your guitar. Play as hard as you want, bend a few steps, and your strings glide back into tune. The highly resonant material also means you'll get more richness and harmonics from every note.Dependable Hardware
The TonePros Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-thru-body design means even more sustain and harmonics, and combined with Schecter's locking tuners gives you stable tuning and more control over your sound.

I have had this guitar for 2 years. I dropped it countless times, and it's still working great. It has a warm sound with great pick-ups. I have never changed the pick-ups since the day I got the guitar.

ESP H-1001 H-Series Electric Guitar Amber Cherry Sunburst Finish Review

I have the ESP version (not LTD) but this guitar seems to be almost the same for about a thousand dollars less. I have been playing for 15 years and I have gone through alot of guitars but this is one I will never get rid of. After picking it up and feeling the playability of this instrument I was pretty much sold on it. I had not even plugged it in yet. It has an awesome tone for any style of music and the craftmanship is superb. Weightwise I can carry this around all night with no problems whereas my Les Paul would require a back brace after about 45 minutes. If you have access to play one of these guitars give them a shot. You will most likely give it the same rating as I did.

This reasonably affordable guitar plays better than most
affordable guitars ( cheap b.c. rich warlocks )
E.S.P. is offering this in a classic style of the Gibson s.g.
with their own take on the design. E.S.P.ltd 50's
come with various designs to pick from.
LH 100 humbuckers for a thick chunky sound and a string through body
which gives this great tone and sustain.
This guitar is great for beginners with out that beginners look.
With all this being said... it still plays like an affordable guitar.
I must say though it plays better than most affordable guitars.
Usually costs around $225.00

ESP LTD Deluxe EC1000 Electric Guitar (Vintage Black) Review

I purchased this exact model one year ago, and had owned 2 other solid body electrics, an acoustic electric and a couple of acoustic guitars before I bought this one. It is awesome! And for a picky guitar player that buys and sells gear frequently, I've had this one for a year and have not considered selling it... I've played other brands of Les Pauls, and they manufacture these so well, I was disappointed not to see the same quality in many other guitars in this price range. The pickups are great, and can be adjusted from nice cleans to great powered humbucker gain. The Ebony fretboard and locking tuners are icing on the cake.

Because they secure solidly in place, intonation and tuning are more accurate-the bridge never falls off. Sustain is better, too, since all of the parts in the system are locked in place and become one with the guitar body.

ESP LTD F50 Electric Guitar (Black) Review

ESP LTD F50 Electric Guitar

Now, I wouldn't exactly say that the F-50 plays itself, but it's about the closest to it that I've ever seen.

From the very thin, fast neck to the solid tuners, to the 24 extra jumbo frets to the great sounding humbuckers... I can't think of a single thing that I dislike about this beasty. The short fret spacing makes notes and chords easier to reach, especially if you don't have freakishly long fingers.

It even looks terrific (especially if you're into metal). The goth-ish body styling probably wouldn't work for you if you're looking to play country, but if you're a rocker... this guitar's shape sets it apart from the million other strats around, and in black, it looks exceptionally evil.
