(More customer reviews)I felt compelled to write a review due to the single one-star review currently posted as of this writing.This guitar *was* a steal.There was no evidence that the one we received was used or tampered with, so I'm not sure what the deal was with the other reviewer's situation. This guitar arrived quickly and in wonderful condition, with a solid and plush case that had a nice compartment for gear.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband who has been playing guitar since early childhood, and he was floored by its performance, especially given the price. He says it has the fastest action, the most solid and light body, and the best warm tone of any guitar his hands have touched (I can also vouch for the richness of the sound).He said it was night and day compared to his other guitars, and that the action was great even when dry.The glossy finish on the back makes for quick painless trips up and down the neck.The pitch shifter doesn't make an annoying click when you switch while playing.Etc.(Note that it doesn't have a whammy bar, but this might help prevent a loose bridge from making you tune up every 30 mins.) This really was a great deal!
