(More customer reviews)I began playing clubs when I was 12. Had to sign a waiver to legally play. Throughout my life, I have played in so many bands at so many places and have gone through so many drums and Zildjian cymbals. I just got my 20" ride today. This is, by far, the best cymbal quality I've ever experienced. I also own an Avedis Zildjian from the late 60's (made in Turkey). This USA Zildjian outranks that cymbal and any other cymbal I've ever heard or played...no contest. Sweet. Perfect. I payed $125 in the 60's for the other.....and $79 something for this one. This is a must buy for any drummer.

(More customer reviews)Although I have some ZBT cymbals my best are the Avedis line (A series).I acquired this cymbal through a swap and was thoroughly impressed. In fact, I like it more than my Avedis splash, which has some overtones.This ZBT decays almost instantly and cuts beautifully. It projects almost as the Zildjian Avedis models and for the price is an outstanding 10" splash for someone on a budget, but who wants a quality cymbal and great sound.

(More customer reviews)First off, I have these and YES they do chip. Zildjian or not. (that is probably why they are so cheap)

But with that said I love the tone of this series. I have the 22" ride 16" crash and these 15" high hats. I have had other cymbals including a few Z custom crashes but these are my favorite. Plus, the black does look pretty sweet and I get a lot of complements them but again like I said the downside is when they start chipping they lose a little of their swagger.
