This is a fantastic archtop guitar, and at a very reasonable price. Set-up is great right out of the box. It isn't fancy, but the fretwork is MUCH better than I've seen on other guitars in this price range. The bridge is fitted almost perfectly. Fit and finish is better than I've seen on Epiphones costing twice as much. Acoustically, it is quite loud, with good mellow tone. Plugged in, you have the same sound, but louder. The floating pickup works great for amplified acoustic jazzy sounds. And NO feedback! I turned it up quite loud and nary a squeal. If you're after a twangy electric sound, though, this guitar is probably not for you. The gig bag is okay, but I will be getting a hard case. My only other complaint is that the nut is on the narrow side, about 1 21/32 inches, more like a chunky Strat neck than a Gibson. I'm not sure this is a problem; the more I play it, the more I like it. I've owned and sold six other archtop guitars, but this one is a keeper!
