(More customer reviews)I bought this item from Musician's Friends through Amazon. The item arrived as expected. When I opened the box I noticed that the product was not the same. First thing is that I did not receive the explosion color, instead I received the two tone green color. I did not like it very much but it is not too bad.

And second I did not receive the item as Amazon describes it. Amazon says that it has a pair of EMG 81/85 pickups, but the guitar came with differents pickups which are not even like the EMG. Very bad pickups. I guess I will have to buy EMG pickups separately. Very very bad for Musician's Friends....what a pitty :(

The Razorback V 255 is the next generation in the Razorback Series. Taking the traditional V shape is on of many Dimebag ideas kept alive at Dean today. The V shape with the V Dean headstock gives the guitar a symetrical, very cool look. Aggressive style and graphics it screams metal guitar. Designed with aggressive playing style in mind, they have fast action, high-output pickups, a Floyd Rose locking tremelo system, and lots of access to upper frets. EMG active pickups mean serious attack, and the extended long 25.5-inch scale is great for all the drop-tuners out there. To top it off, this one features some rather explosive graphics.

The late great Dimebag Darrell is a serious metal guitar hero, and Dean's series of Dimebag models pays homage. This axe features a set mahogany neck, which imparts all the well-known advantages of that style: a warmer overall tone with extended low-end response, wicked sustain, and easy upper-fret access (enhanced even further by the cutaways). The Razorback V 255 offers serious tone with its pair of active EMG humbuckers. In the bridge position is a high-output 81. Utilizing powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, the 81 delivers incredible amounts of high end cut and fluid sustain, so your leads can cut through the densest mix.

In the neck position the Elite features an 85. It's a slightly more well-rounded version of the aggressive 81. With close aperture coils loaded with Alnico V magnets, the 85 offers plenty of versatility, with a muscular growl and smooth lead tones, perfect for the muddiest of blues to the most extreme metal.
