(More customer reviews)I teach guitar and ordered one of these for one of my students. I had a hard time parting with it. Great size, nice cutaway, good electronics, and a tuner. What more can you ask for except it's made by Takamine with it's exceptional quality and sound. It's difficult to find these because they sell out too quickly and the price has been going up. I just can't find the deal I first got for $379 with hard shell case and free ship. My student just loves this guitar and won't part with it. You can't usually go wrong with a Takamine.

(More customer reviews)Well, the first one that I received was defective. I believe it was the stacked potentiometer. I, of course, returned it and had another sent to me. When I opened the box two strings were busted (high "E" and "B"). My heart sank. But when I hooked it up to my amp there were no problems with the electronics and my heart floated again. The broken strings were no problem as I had planned to replace them anyway. They were ".09"s and I wanted ".10"s on the guitar. After all, this guitar has two humbuckers and .09 guage strings would not do it justice. Then I adjusted the trussrod. Wow, this little guy rocks! No, its not a Les Paul but for the money it gets close enough. With the included brackets for using whilst standing, this guitar is very, very comfortable. Though you cannot adjust intonation it was close enough to live with. Travel guitars are compromises. Thats the reason they are lighter and smaller than the full size ones. This one suits me fine. It comes with a cable, brackets for standing and sitting, a strap, hex wrench and instructions all in the carry bag. For the price it is a winner.
