(More customer reviews)Just recently bought this guitar. I was under the impression it was green in color but looked more like the "old school" lightning blue Dime. This guitar has a very good sound and would be a great beginnner as well. I bought it mostly for memorabilia. I love to play it though! If you are interested in this guitar, it does rock! The only downfall I can see is that it will make you want to step up to the next level of purchase for your new Dean that comes loaded!!Overall, very pleased. Go for it!

The late great Dimebag Darrell is a serious metal guitar hero, and Dean's series of Dimebag models pays homage. Dimebag started playing Dean ML style guitars in the late '70s, and made it one of the most recognizable shapes today. Dean offers a wide variety of Dimebag MLs to choose from, all boasting Dimebag's distinctive look and tons of mojo and attitude. Basswood Body
The Dimeblade features a lightweight basswood body. Basswood is great for heavier rock and metal styles, delivering a nice even tone that feeds a dirt pedal (or a dimed Marshall) nicely.Of course what's really striking about the body is the wicked custom finish.
