(More customer reviews)Had no problems at all... very playable. I love this product. Quick and easy home setup- I set it up in 10 minutes.
Of course, without independent bridge saddles, you don't have too much control over intonation, but for my purposes its perfectly good.
- the ultimate in utilitarian minimalism.

Its a little on the trebley side for my taste, but nothing beyond the scope of tone control eq-ing to correct on the bass and amp.

Very impressed for what it was and the cost.

So much so that I bought a Testar a few weeks later.

Not so impressed by the OGRE headphone amp that comes in the kit though.Loads of background hiss.I think its a discontinued product now (although there are some in inventory)
I hope the built in preamps/headphone amps I think they are putting the the next model is much better.
One of the things I like about the model I bought, in fact, is that it DOESN't have one built in.With very inexpensive gear, you really want to no be stuck with the stock selection on that kind of stuff.

But the instrument is fantastic.
