The original Danelectro Corporation produced extraordinarily innovative musical instrument amplifiers from the late 1940s till it closed down in 1969. Beginning in the early 1950s, it also produced the inexpensive but high-quality electric guitars that another company of the same name has been "reissuing" for the last couple of decades.
