I have owned this critter for some time.I like it.I like PRS in general, and their SE models -- their bottom of the line -- are as good, in my opinion, as other brand guitars costing several hundred dollars more.Everybody gravitates toward Fenders, Gibsons and Ibanez, but I took a chance on Paul Reed Smith and wasn't disappointed. These S(tudent) E(dition) models are great for casual players, and with a few modifications, even good for gigging. The only downside I can cite to the made-in-Korea SEs, is the tuners aren't top quality. However, for $50 you can get some Grover 406Cs, which fit without drilling, and you're set. Also, the SEs come with the nicest gig bags I've seen. The "wide fat neck" isn't even noticeable -- about like some Gibson models, the frets are low compared to a Fender.Save a few bucks, they are worth checking out.
