(More customer reviews)I am in no way pro with a guitar but have been playing for many years, more for self entertainment and relaxation. I've had several brands of guitars, the best to this point being Ovation Legend. I own a 6 string, a 12 string and a clasical, all of which play very well and sound good. That's where the comparison stops, I got the Taylor in the mail Sept of last year for my birthday and after tuning, it redefined music. It has a tone with sharpness and quality to put anything I have played to shame. I had some difficulty at first as I was changing from a 1 11/16" to a 1 3/4" neck, but I've worked thru that. It is simply the most beautiful sounding guitar there is, in my book. My recommendation is pick out a Taylor, 6 or 12, and call the music store that offers it.
