This is a very nicely presented metallic cherry finish American-Idol-style guitar with two humbucking pickups at the neck and bridge, respectively, and separate volume/tone controls for each, plus a 3-way selector that alternates between the bridge/neck/both pickup selections. The action is decent...the bolt-on neck is maple, the body (I believe) is basswood or some similar lower-end wood,& the sustain on the notes is quite good. The tuners hold their own, so far ( I have had it for ~1 month).
I would recommend this as a backup, intermediate and/or starter level guitar; anything in the $100 range, +/- $25, would be a good range. The price varies quite a bit.

Note on shipping (I am NOT including this in my star rating...just for informational purposes): This guitar arrived in a very large "Y2" box with insufficient packing, so it was thrown around a bit...when I opened up the box, the guitar had been ejected form its own box and styrofoam bits/pieces were everywhere. The guitar sustained minor scrapes & "bruises" but nothing terrible. If it were a more expensive model, I would have been more concerned, but I expect to leave this one out, ready to play on short notice. Just be aware that the shipping department might forget. If anything, this proves the guitar can take a licking...
