i bought this just about over a month ago and i am fairly pleased with it. It is a good sounding guitar with decent pickups (that you can always change if you dont like). this is my first guitar so the name (dean) didnt realy mean much to me, i was just more concerned about the quality. overall for the price, the quality is pretty good. there are somethings that i found are poorly made ie. when i replaced the strings i noticed that on the back of the guitar are the holes for the strings to be fed through and they had these little plastic cuplets in the holes to keep the strings from feeding through the wood on the guitar, well dean couldnt have just glued them in cause that would just be too easy so now when you change the strings you have to make sure that you dont loose them. other than that, not too many complaints on it yet. the guitar looks amazing and the volume and control knobs look really cool too. very nice case too. it is definitally a fun guitar to play and i am happy i purchased it..oh and also it IS a fingerprint magnet so you might want to purchase a cloth rag with the guitar.

Product Description:
This Razorback DB Floyd is the least expensive of the Razorback models. With its aggressive style and graphics, it screams "metal," and backs it up with fast action, high-output pickups, a Floyd Rose locking tremelo system, and plenty of access to upper frets.

Dime It
The late great Dimebag Darrell is a serious metal guitar hero, and Dean's series of Dimebag models pays homage. Dimebag started playing Dean ML style guitars in the late '70s, and made it one of the most recognizable shapes today. Dean offers a wide variety of Dimebag models to choose from, all boasting Dimebag's distinctive look and tons of mojo and attitude. Basswood Body
The Dimeblade features a lightweight basswood body. Basswood is great for heavier rock and metal styles, delivering a nice even tone that feeds a dirt pedal (or a dimed Marshall) nicely.Of course what's really striking about the body is the wicked custom finish. Dimebag and his signature are portrayed, along with his trademark razor necklace, over green lightning graphics.Bolt-On Construction
Bolt-on neck construction provides an affordable alternative to set-neck or thru-body designs. The advantage of this design is that if you do have any neck trouble down the line, you can easily replace it. The DB's maple neck features an ultra-playable 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, withcustom arrow inlays and a DB razor inlay at the 12th fret.Dean Humbucker Pickups
To capture the biting tones of vintage Deans, the company includes two of its standard humbuckers, which provide more than enough bite for modern styles, along with plenty of low-end and midrange definition. The standard three-way selector allows bridge, neck, or a combination. Each pickup gets a volume pot, and they share the tone control.Grover Tuners
If you play guitar then you know what this means--solid, dependable tuning from the industry standard. These tuning machines are a triumph in engineering and style, with a gear ratio of 14:1, perfect gear meshing, and zero backlash and slippage. The gear box has a special lubricant for lifetime, trouble-free service.

Tune-o-Matic Bridge
The '79's Tune-o-Matic bridgewith string-thru body design provides even more sustain, along with precise intonation for your tuning preference. The classic v-shaped plate mirrors the headstock wings for some nice vintage Dean style.DBD Traction Knobs
Dimebag always rocked his "traction knobs," which he created by taking a soldering iron to them, for knobs that are grippable no matter how much sweat's pouring off you on stage. Dean faithfully recreates that here.
