(More customer reviews)I bought the Dean Playmate Pack three years ago when I was first getting started with the guitar, and remember being very displeased with its quality. Things went well for about three months- then the cord shorted- just died. I bought a new cord and played for three months- and the amp blew. I didn't drop it or turn it up too loud (1/4 the volume, in fact). It just grew more and more temperamental, then died. The final thing to go was the strap, which tore after infrequent use. I still have the guitar, which works fine, but I thought I was getting more than that when I bought it.
